Surya Mani is basically from ancient land of knowledge and the earliest university of mankind Nalanda (Magadh), Bihar. He has acquired M. Tech (Petroleum Engineering) from Ukrainian homeland Oil & Gas University with the gold medal. He resides in Ukraine and owns a business.

His association with Sewa Europe started with the relief work for Bharat and Ukraine during Covid pandemic. During the Ukraine crisis he led the on ground rescue efforts of Sewa Europe from the front. He played a key role in providing help to Orphanages in the cold winters in Ukraine during the crisis. He is also connected with multiple local community based organisations all over Ukraine.

Surya Mani likes to be amongst people and cherishes their company. He strongly believes in the Dharmic principles.
